What's funny is it seems no one there knew the new songs off of L.E. I knew all the words...lol
The new ones are pretty good, I wish the RIC would stand out a little more in the mix though.
His 370 sounded great last night! I couldn't tell if he was playing the janglebox or not. I didn't see anything on the floor other than a bottle of water.

I agree. I thought the mix was weak and the EQ was dull on most everything. I don't know if it was the guys running the board or the system itself. A friend of mine installed the house system and I would expect it to be MUCH better than I heard last PM. Roger is still a very strong vocalist and plays maybe better than ever....
Finklea: What was Roger's best performance? First, from your point of view and second from the response of the audience.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Peter, if you ask me I think the audience really dug Mr.Spaceman and DSTDM. I really was impressed with 8MH. He didn't do the "echos" version but really did 8MH with an echoy type arrangement. In other words he sang the song as well. He did the download song of the month off of FolkDen. I didn't expect that. He played the first verse of MTM like Dylan played it. He reminded me of Seeger all night. My big dissapointment was that he didn't do the instrumental break from TTT.
I was really looking forward to that! Oh well. He was very animated last night. I thought he was going to come out of his chair during some of the songs. My wife said she just knew he was going to break a string while playing. He just ripped that Martin up!

Beautiful photo Cole. The autograph goes great with the finish. Mind you it would go nicely with any Rickenbacker finish.

I'd be certain Roger used his JangleBox. He keeps it either right off the wings of the stage or by the sound board -- wherever Camilla or the venue's sound tech can get to it and make adjustments if necessary.
On the Byrds FAQ, updated just last week, Roger gives us a nice mention:

Cole, your guitar looks terrific!
