If I win it, I'm putting in a horseshoe(If I can find one)and a toaster and pretend it's a v63

Yeah, starting to see visions of a Rickenroom in the new house... I'll get those 660 pics over the weekend. My wife keeps using the camera to take pics of the kids.. I just don't get her;-)

This is what I'd like to make the bass look like:

Are you going to go with the gold guard and TRC?? I think that would look awesome.

In fact, there aren't many colors on an instrument that gold wouldn't accent well.

I never cared for that color, but I have to admit it looks good as a 4003S

Scott, let's see if i get it first. Looks like it's going to go on the high side.

Only changes I'll make are the pickups.

Sorry Marc....I didn't know you were bidding on it. I placed my max bid already which isn't much more ($50-ish) so have at it if you like. If it was FireGlo I'd be more enthused finacially. Since I do want a 4003s I figured $1K (with shipping) was about my max on a color that's not on the top of my list. Since you are interested and like the color more I'll retract my bid if you are at your limit.....just let me know.....I know that isn't proper Ebay etiquette (sp?) but I'll do it for a fellow Confluence II attendee Image.

I think the bidding is going to go higher. You don't see many of these and 94 seems to be a good year. I happen to love that color.Let's see what happens.

That's the only Turquoise S model I've seen. Gonna need that in the book, so whoever gets it, keep in touch!

Thanks!

I'm not sure what to expect from the auction. The paint could really help or really hurt the selling price. If it was FireGlo in that condition I'd be in for considerably more....

I just got an e-mail from a guy selling a turqoise 4003, not S, that's ending tpmorrow and the bid is up to $821. I could be wrong, but I would think the S would go for more.

For my purpose of making it similiar to a v63, the S is what I need
