Regarding the output level, my first attempt was not successful, however, as long as you have a separate volume knob for each pickup the varying output levels is not problematic.

Not all orderings of these pickups work the same. I found that it was important, at least in my case, to have the high gain and toasters in the neck and bridge positons. The addition of a toaster or high gain in the middle was not as desirable as the humbucker.

When all three of the pickups are on, in this arrangement, the jangle is quite incredible.

Regarding the Humbuckers and the different part numbers. . . perhaps the difference is in the length of the lead wires? i.e., neck has longer leads, bridge has shorter ones.

Just a thought. . .
