Post by freewheelin »

Hi everybody !
I want to sale my 4001.
Checkerboard binding, mapleglo, grover tuners, toaster neck pickup, 1973.
But the problem is : when I bought it , the jackplate has been changed, so I don't have the serial number... Is it important for the price, how much can I sale it ? please, help !

A photo of it would help greatly.

Does it have the full-length crushed pearl inlays or the newer style inlays?

Does it have a split tailpiece?

Is Mapleglo the original finish or has it been refinished to Mapleglo?

A quick look in the body cavity under the pickguard will tell for sure.
