Nate is a good guy, I got a good deal from him on a 4003 monty brown.
Buy it before someone else does.

Hmmm ... Rickenbirthdays! This could be the start of a new passion ... and thread!

So the CW is a 21-fret 360 six string? If, so how does it feel/sound different from a regular 24 fret 360?

Its lighter and the top is thinner which makes the sound more alive/accoustic. Its also has toasters and my 360/6 MG is stock with higains. The p/ups are placed differently in relation to where the neck and the body meet. I love 'em both

I had a lefty one last year. It was a superb guitar, I took it to a show and someone fell in love with it so I sold it to him.Image

Did Ric ever make the CW 360 6-string in any other color?

The more and more I hear about the CW I want one for myself...
All that talk about Toasters, 21-fret necks, thin tops... By the time I think it's time to buy one I won't be able to afford them that's for sure!
Untill they make a C65 (Harrison's 2nd 360/12) this will be a dream guitar of mine, hehe.

Sorry for the double-post but I thought I'd post some pictures that were on ebay not too long ago...

Great example, 12-string tho.

In addition to the differences already pointed out, as the photos above show, RIC used figured Maple for the tops (and backs) of the CW's. Also, the headstock shape was more in the 60's vein, a la the V64's.

What a gorgeous looking guitar.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Ever notice the bottom curved edge (below the knobs) of the 360 has an indentation, i.e., it's not round ? When I saw that on my 360/6, I thought it was a manufacturing defect, but then I observed the same thing on my 360/12. I wonder why that is ?

It's not really an indentation. It's the area where the radius of the top resolves into the sharper edge of the lower bout and tailpiece. If this wasn't done, the tailpiece relief would look strange. There may be other reasons too, but that's my .02.
