Rickenbacker strap?
I have Fender straps on my Fenders, so I need one for my 4001 too. Anyone knows where to get one? Online.

The Ric straps should be available from an official dealer in your area. Here in the U.S., Mike Parks has them for US$25 on his website:

For all my basses I use straps made in the UK by Overwater. I first got one for my Overwater bass and nothing else comes close IMHO.
They are quite wide , about 3 1/2 inches at a guess & have 'suspension' in the form of about 2 inches of elasticated section near the top horn of the bass. They are made of a black padded canvassy type of material & tend not to make me sweat as much a leather.
I often play for 4 - 5 hrs at a time with these straps and it never feels uncomfortable on my neck or back.
They cost about 28 UKP and are worth every penny. I own four of them.
