Forumites in France?
Do we have any forumites in France? There's a lovely 4001 with all the goodies (except toaster) for local pick up only! ebay
I was surprised to find out that Paris has an amazing number of vintage guitar shops (about 50-60) most of them in one street (can't recall the name), including two bass-only shops, and one just for left-handed basses and guitars. It's a vintage freak's heaven. And the food isn't too bad either
I went also to see an antique guitar dealer, saw some amazing 18th and 19th century French instruments (they had great luthiers - like Rene Lacote, who invented the scalloped fingerboard) - and not one Vigier.
In short, I need an excuse to go to Paris again. Last time I thought I'll be lost because I don't speak French, but it was fine.
By the way, my first-ever Ric (1973 Jetglo 4001) was purchased in France.
