Jeff...that 5 string is a beauty, no matter what the purists might think...

(Them guys are in permanent cringe mode anyway...)

Just like with motorcycles, I can be equally impressed by a model that looks like it left the factory yesterday and a "rat"...
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

Jim, thanks for the gesture, but I can get them in rolls. But rolls of stickers have no sentimental value!

Just an old softy, I guess. Har.

Emphasis on "old". Cough, cough.

All very appealing, tasteful, and well in keeping with the Rick "DNA". Could be factory stuff!

And then there are the tiger-striped pickguards type of mods.

Yecchhh!

Like I said, a whole range of grays--not a black and white issue. As with many issues of aesthetics, some people get it, and others are woefully out to sea and should leave well enough alone.

Paul,

Lay off on the pickguards! Remember, I have a checkerboard pickguard... You are getting dangerously close to fighting words with me!

No tiger stripes, Jim? Then nothing to worry about.

(emoticon rejected)

Hey Jeffery, I don't care how good that toaster / horseshoe combo sounds. I wouldn't do it. The horseshoe gets in the way of my fingers.

Reversable mods are fine with me, irreversable mods are vandalism, but they just make the rest of our stock rics worth all that much more in the end.

Hey Howard, you are posting at a record pace, me and Jeff have been neck and neck for a long time (mostly arguments, haha!) Peter was the pacesetter for a time too.

I'm trying to find a happy medium between quality and quantity, Bob. Quantity is winning hands down at the moment - hahahahaha!! Image

Yeah me too Howard as always. If I just posted quality posts I'd have about a hundred. Jeff, my bobampeg posts are included, Peter fixed it for me several months ago including my original join date.
