It's getting down to below 10c at night and in the morning here, Stan. I much prefer bare feet myself but I don't see the point in turning on the central heating just to warm up the tootsies for an hour or so!! I'll post a pic of the slippers tonight - hahahaha!!

Now there's a marketing idea for JH - Rick slippers for the cold winters!! Image

And here they are! In the second shot they look dirty, but it's the light (gave them a good going over with Zymol, I did!).

I had a 60s BMW R60...... wouldn't do 160 downhill with a gale force tail wind!! Very comfy bike, though.......

I also had a Bridgestone 175 for a while - great machine!!

I had a '47 Denbeigh Super Chauvinist. Triple overhead cams, sixteen cylinders, rubber donuts, adjustable trembler, etc. Total loss lubrication system, intermittent electrics.

But what a babe magnet!

Super Chauvinist haha!

Yeah Peter, the brakes weren't very good, and now that you mention it it didn't handle too well either.. was damn fast though. I never went over 95 on it and that was on high ways. I miss it though, all those bikes are crotch rockets nowadays.

Paul: was that the one with the 8 headlamps mounted across the handlebars or the quad setup on the front of the fairing? I hear the quad array was so good it flattened the bitumen in front of you as you went along.

Either one is cool!!

The Denbeigh was the one with the Teasmade built into the console. The Standard Chauvinist only had an (intermittent) electric kettle.

I believe so, Bob. But you needed to find one with the MKIV version fitted - the MKIII was a bit on the nose, apparently. Soft and mushy - no firmness!!
