4000 on Ebay

Post by marc61 »

Might make a nice project. When I see buckle rash like that, ugly as it is,it makes me feel like it's a player.

Nothing a horseshoe and refin can't fix.

Hmmmm it's not Fireglo, but it could be again !!!!

I called the store, and it's a July 79 (SG) 4000.

And the GCREP's still try to get a starting bid on their 4000's of $2,100 and $4,100! Image ROTF!

Wonder how high this one goes?

If anyone here gets it are they gonna put a black guard on it? Would look nice.

I'm not a fan of one pickup so I definatly don't want it. Although, it is a Ric..... Image

If I get it it's a gonna be Fireglo, so it'll have a new white gaurd, and a spanking new Horshoe as well.

You are indeed a scholar and a gentelman Sergio, the one you did for my 4003 sounds fantastic.

Now .. if I can just sneak another shoe into Jareds build list !!!!

Btw .. has anyone else noticed that the buckle rash on the first pic looks like Mickey Mouse !!!

Hey Jim. Mickey? Yes, you're right. Mickey's Ricky, haha.
I presume a 1979 4000 to be a rare Rick bass. Am I right? I expect one of you to pick it up, guys.

I see a bowling pin in the buckle rash with some unidentified object(reflection off a bowling ball?) in front of it.
