When will new Beatles on Capitol be relesed???
I believe The Beatles used four-tracks in the studio, from late 1963 through 1967. As I recall, the three-tracks were used only for the Hollywood Bowl recordings.
How complete do you think Capitol's CD collection should be? I think The Early Beatles belongs in the collection, but should they take it so far as to release The Beatles Story? What about things like Rock & Roll Music, or Love Songs? Any opinions?
Has there been any talk of Capitol releasing their original singles on CD?

I think Capitol/Apple should release all of the US LPs on CD. It would be a great moneymaker for them and a plus for collectors. I always wanted the US Rarities LP on an official CD. And maybe Reel Music with the Movie Medley on it as a bonus cut. Yes they are rehashes, but it's part of History. I think they already released the singles on CD as a box set in the 1990s.

So, what about that Hollywood Strings album?
But seriously...
Anyone think Capitol will release Yesterday And Today with the butcher cover? How about a package that has the butcher cover, but with the trunk cover pasted on top, so we can all have fun peeling them? The question is, should they be easy to peel, or as difficult as the originals?
When they get to Abbey Road, they could give Paul a removable cigarette...

Wondered that myself, Dennis, if they would include the 'butcher' with the release of Y&T. And if they have a 'peel' version, most can be botched like the originals were. And as far as Paul on Abbey Road, well...maybe they should just take him off the cover, after all he was dead by then, remember.

Burberry only makes raincoats. I have one, a genuine Paul McCartney signature model.
Not the cheap Epiphone copy.
His suit was from Austin Reed of Regent Street.

Here's my guess if they were to release Volume 2 and 3.
Volume 2: Early Beatles, Beatles VI, Help, Rubber Soul ( I think they were all released in 1965)
Volume 3: Yesterday and Today, Revolver, Hey Jude, then it gets tough... maybe Rarities or Hard Days Night to fill it out.
As for the Butcher.. I'd like to see the Butcher cover and maybe a "colorform like" peel off so you could see it both ways anytime you want.
