Any Tips for " And Your Bird Can Sing"?
Hi guys, going into the studio today to record And Your Bird Can Sing.Unfortunately, I dont have my Ric bass yet so I have to do it on a Hofner.Do any of you guys have any tips re: Paul's playing and/or sound on this particular track.I've read the post about Revolver but thats more for guitar.Help meeee ooooo. Thanks
Brett,
Sorry this may be a little late, but, I know that Sir Paul used a capo (that is correct) on several tracks. There are pictures from the Revolver sessions that show one on his Hofner, to bear this out.
I am not sure if one was used on this track, however give it a shot. Couldn't hurt right?

He walked out to face his arch-enemies with his arch-supporters.
