So I think I found my bass...

My desperate search for Project Ric has led me here...

Now here's to hoping the price doesn't blow up on me. It seems like every one I've watched has ended up way higher than I want to go for a bass I'm going to mod.

I'm going tomorrow to sell some extra goodies.... may the force be with me!

It helps that the seller is "DarkLord", maybe the force will be with you! I have a feeling this will end up in the $800 range, its not THAT hacked.

Call me cheap.... but that's STILL more than I want to spend!

I might just have to suck it up and realize there are NO Rics around, in any condition, for what I want to spend!

I like them around the $600 range too, Bob. I look for the "player", the "Fixer-upper", the "mongrels".

I bought a beat looking 96 4003 jetglo a few years ago with a dead bridge pickup (unknown to me) for $550.00 on a BIN, it's one of the best sounding and playing basses I own. I don't think you'll be seeing anymore BIN's like that though, it had only been on for a couple of hours when i bought it.
