Your "Go To" Pedal for your Rick(s)
I love my Visual Sound Rt66 pedal (overdrive and compression/sustain). It sounds great with my '66 Rick. What is everyone's fav pedal(s) when playing a Rick? I'm always interested in hearing about sounds that complement a Rickenbacker!

For my 360/12 ... Carl Martin compressor.
For my basses, there's no *one* pedal. In the current band, I use a Z.Vex Woolly Mammoth, EH Deluxe Memory Man, and sometimes a Lovetone Meatball. Others in the "occasionally used" category would be EH Bass Microsynth, DOD 670 Flanger, Kent trem, EBS Octabass, the Carl Martin (for recording), DOD 585 analog delay (nastier sounding than the Memory Man), Frostwave Resonator with CV pedal (instead of a standard wah), and a few others ...

My basses are Rickenbackers. My synthesizers and recording gear are analog.
I'm using a Roland JC-120 amp. My axe is a 650S. I must tell you that the pedal didn't sound that good with my 330; too noisy! But with the 650, I get the real good distorsion sound that I'm looking for: i.e. for 70's rock. You must understand that the JC-120 is not really a rock amp; it's hard to get heavy bass from it unlike a Fender or Marshall.
One thing that you should know about the FabTone is that it's not user friendly. The knobs are difficult to adjust in-between songs...you get a good variety of sounds but it's very touchy!
I use it in two different positions on stage...it's good enough for what we play!
I suggest that you try it in store before you buy it, you'll see what I mean about the touchy adjustments!!

I've updated my pedal situation. I just bought a Fulltone Fulldrive. The guy at the shop said I'd probably just give up on the Route 66, since I only used it for compression, and that's included in the Fulldrive. Wrong! I use both. The boost and ring that the Route 66 gives me definitely compliments the Fulldrive, and when I want to go clean, I just click the Fulldrive off. These are great pedals.
