2x12 D120Fs + 1x15 D140F JBLs w/V4-BH head.

They sound better when you play them.
Where did you get that D140F? Are those the same speakers they made years ago? If so those are great speakers.

I've got a 'few' D140s from the old days.

Unfortunately when you re-cone 'em they sound a lil different.

but they still got the RIC clang!

Jeff,
Do you use a tweeter with the Eminnece 10" drivers? I also built a 2X10 combo for my SWR head and have been looking for a good 16 ohm 10" to use. These sound like the ticket. Are they similar to the Eminnece drivers that Fender uses in its cabs?

I have 3 bass rigs ... all have ampeg heads ... one is 2x10 and 1x18, one is 2 2x10s, and one is 2 1x15's ... I put a horn in the 1x15 cab ... I really prefer bass cabs without horns or crossovers ... I like to run full frequency to my speakers ... and I like to mike a speaker running full frequency ...

My 210T weighs 60 pounds. I was snooping around for cabs on the web today and it seems there are 4x10's that only weigh 80 lbs. That would seem to make the 4x10 a smarter buy. Instead of going Ampeg, since Jeff suggested a compressor, maybe I should get a modeller and see if I can find a tone that way. I'm not unhappy with my tone, alwaya looking to improve on it tho.

Hey I just had a brilliant idea! Why not use my Hartke Kickback 10 for the bridge and the Eden 210 for the neck. I think that would be right? I could have Ric-O-Sound or whatever it is!

I second Brian's suggestion earlier in the thread. Get a second Eden 210 or maybe an Eden 115. Moving a 410 is difficult but 2 individual 210 cabs is no problem plus, you'll have a more flexible set up.
