You have to pay a fee to go that high on the neck! Can't rumble those frequencies!

I play a couple things that high. Bass solo from Pink Floyd's "Money" goes that high. Max Webster's "Battlescar" goes to the 20th fret.

Looks like you're wringing the notes out of your axe like an old bluesman, Scott!

Forgot about "Rain". I never really bothered to sit down and learn that...

Actually,in my experience, I rarely go higher than E. F#and G once in a while, but never higher. I find I'm getting to be in the same freq as the guitars and I seem to get lost in the mix. My E rings through loud and clear but anything above that, no dice.

Actually I tend to play all over the neck. I've learned to experiement with playing the same line or lines at different places. An octave "G" for example may sound kinda thin when played on the 5th fret of the "D" string, so I'll slide up and play it on the 10th fret of the "A" string. I find it usfull when I play with a pick.

Here's a more reserved shot.

"Something" is another great bass line song.
If it ain't broke, break it, then fix it.
