Help me pull my knob off

Sorry if this has been asked before (I couldn't find anything) but how do you remove the volume/control dials? I'm thinking of changing the knobs on my 381 and have never done it before. Do they screw off or pull off? Needless to say, I am a bit reluctant to just yank the fellows out.

I know Jangly Paul has done it on his...

There is a little flat head screw holding them on Rob. Look on the side of the knobs & you will see it.
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

Aha! Thanks Tony. I've heard people talking about pulling them off epiphones as they are simply held on a splined shaft. Thought that sounded a bit too cheap for Rickenbacker.
