Formula 1 in Indy
Probably a long shot but is anyone else going? It's been a very interesting season so far and the weather looks to be shaping up nicely so it should be a great time !

I've never heard of that specific rule either (I know there are certain restrictions for pitting/rejoining under the safety car) but I'm also not a driver or team member that should know better. I was rooting for Alonso but he seems like more and more of a baby to me (even more than most of them) so I'm hoping for anybody but him. Plus isn't Renault French......
.
I always liked the Jaguar team and the new version as Red Bull is making some great progress. Plus they (team and drivers) are pretty low key and seem to work well together....also I like the underdog factor.

Let's just say that I will NEVER go to see an F1 race again. What a load of %^$&*^^*&!@ !!!!!!!!
I spent enough on the tickets, gas, hotel and food to have bought a nice Ric. What a waste.
There were plenty of bottle throwers in my area....I just picked up my stuff and the wife and I departed for home.
BTW....one of my buddies that went had two sets of two 16 oz. airhorns taped together so he could easily blast all four at once.....pretty loud and obnoxious! It was a great time until the race started......

I watched the whole debacle on TV, it is a sad day for F1!
However, I am mostly in agreement with the FIA as the Michelin teams had no problems with going ahead with qualifying and they could have slowed down at turn 13 instead of making a sham of the whole thing. Rules are rules in any sport and the Michelin teams acted like spoiled brats.
