Looking for a Rick Luthier in NB Canada

Post by admiral »

Hi all.

I've recently bought 2 ricks and played them quite a bit. I have a Carl wilson and a 370/ 12. I'm looking for anyone in NB Canada or in the maritimes at all that would be able to set them up. I'm not really willing to try this myself, I've seen the forums and I think I could do it, however all new skills require practice, and I'm not that willing to practice on these ricks! If anyone can do this please let me know, Thanks much

Tristan,

Wow, I see from Ric's "Dealer" page on their site that there aren't even any Ric Dealers out in Eastern Canada at all! The closest store to you is in Quebec, which needless to say, is no good for you.

I'd say just look around locally to find a good tech to take care of you. That's what I had to do in my case. Phone a few places to see if they've got anyone on staff who plays or knows how to set up Rickenbackers, etc.

Best of luck.

Tristan: Where do you live?
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Peter-- I live in Saint John, NB. Needless to say I haven't found anyone in the local stores here thats really familiar with ric. It seems all we have in the stores down here is fenders. If anyone knows someone I'd be greatful!

Thanks.
