Jeff - I have a place where you and your wife can stay near me on the beach in Seal Beach! Consider it a vacation, if you can.

That’s right Scottie! It’s a 4004Cii TR/BT!

It’s got RIC black surrounds, Schaller black M4’s a black Hipshot bridge and All Parts black knobs.

All drop-ins of course no mods at all

What do you think?

Looks great! I've wondered what that combination would look like.

How did the Hipshot finally work out for you, Andy?

Jeffrey, they originally sent me the wrong size... Dave replaced it with no issue and the new one is an exact drop-in. They're now sending me longer screws so that I can properly tune it! the one inch screw wasn't long enough!

Hipshot is good about customer service, I'm glad it worked out for you. What I found interesting with the Hipshot on my 4003FL is that Dave sent me three different length intonation screws and I had to use all three different sizes to get the fretless adjusted properly.

The bridge is not set up yet in this pic, I took this for Hipshot to use on their website before I did my setup on the bass. I just popped the bridge on when I got it at the studio.
