Yeah, why do the Horns (cresting wave) seem soooooooo fat? Looks oddball to my eye. Didn't the early 80's V63's have 3 dots above the 12th fret?

Exactly how difficult would be to get a TRC for this bass. Could you not get one from Rickenbacker, maybe if you supplied the serial number found on the jack-plate and some photos. I would think there would be some way to get one, other than taking a chance on ebay. Any thoughts?

I just checked out the bidding history on this one & call me cynical but… I bet it actually sold for more.

I have seen this happen with real estate over the years. Given that there was a lot of interest on the bass, including myself, why let it go early to a bid that is just a fraction above the next best? Hmmmmmm…….
