Tracy: This query is from the Rickenbacker Forum mailbox.Quote:I was wondering if you could help.
I have an old Rick amp that I need info for.
It's black, has a 12 inch speaker, control panel on top, and a tape loop mechanism. It recently stopped working so I need to possible get a schematic to get it repaired. The model # is scratched off so I don't know it.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Compared to a catalog description, this is most probably the Rickenbacker model M-30. I know that Mr. Hall has a copy of the schematic, so I'd imagine that it is available on the RIC website. The M-30 doesn't show up that often (I've heard of maybe three others). The unusual circuit was licensed from Ray Butts and as you might figure, these amps are the s**t. Rockabilly heaven. I should get so lucky as to find one.........
Show him the shirts, Adrian.
