Nice Ken. Please comment on how this neck plays compared to the 330 or 360. Any difference?
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I prefer it. My other Rick guitars were a 610 and a 360V64. Although I dont't have huge hands they are not small either. I would tend to mute certain notes on the narrower necks when playing certain chords. This is not a problem with the 650 at all. Other than the extra width it has approx the same depth as other Ricks I have played. It is also an easier transition from my home built guitar and my Canadian made Larrive'e D-09. I still have the factory strings on it. They are different to play then roundwounds,IMO. I used them on my 360. I'm not sure if they are right for this instrument though.
The pickups and bridge give it a whole different sound. It seems sustain to as long as you hold the note. I am used to that since my home built is also a neck through. I know that I promised a sound report a couple of months ago in an earlier thread. I just need to sit down and write something comprehensive, but I'd rather play. I promise to get to it though.
