Dan, the jewelled knobs are available from Cream City Music in Milwaukee 1-800-800-0087. They are $50.00 a pair.

$50.00 a pair for knobs. Grumble...

I have a friend who owns a '49 Packard which he's fully restored except for one window crank knob...imagine what that's gonna cost him (if and when he finds one...)
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

I think a jewelled gold Gretsch knob would look super on a '49 Packard.

Thanks Paul for a source on the knobs and to know the price in advance to avoid shock. It is a touch high but then most things associated with Gretsch are. The bad thing here is that they are fifty a pair and that the EE has three knobs LOL..
I'm glad I only have Mopars. They are expensive enought in parts. But a Packard? As Lurch would say Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhh!.
Paul, the colors on your rebuilt Gretsch are cool too.
