Any word on when these are about due to ship?

The difference between my V59 and the C58 was night and day. I'm curious to see how different the C64 is from the V63.

I was out at the factory a few weeks ago, they are still working on it. When you see first hand how much goes into making any Ric, let alone one from scratch, there is a real appreciation that develops for how nutty they are with the quality control. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that these are going to be killer. Aside from all of the correct headstock, neck and body shapes, the hardware is as close as it gets. I think the only thing they are reusing are the knobs, maybe the strap buttons too?

Nick

Having read this site for some time, I'm sure that someone was quoting December 2003 for the 325C64 to start shipping. We're nearly at the end of March and still nothing.....! Do you know what the latest update is on the new model? And also when we are likely to see them start shipping? I had one on order through a UK dealer last year but I cancelled my order due in part to having a substantial deposit tied-up with no confirmed delivery date. Thanks....

Patrick: Why not describe the differences between your V59 and C58.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

August 4th? Of what year??

I'm guessing early part of 2007 they'll ship to US dealers. First the Japanese dealers will get theirs, and then we'll see orders trickle out to the USA.

You'd better believe the Japanese will get theirs first! They were the first to step up to the plate and place their orders, substantial ones. They were first in line and fair is fair.

The British are next in line, generally followed by everyone else including North American dealers.

It's pronounced "Yahoo", as eBay's an also-ran in Japan.

Mr. Hall, is this usually the case with all new models, or is it this series in particular? I know how crazy they are for all things Beatles.

I would think RIC uses the 'FIBD' system - first in, best dressed! Another example of the strong ethical nature of the organisation. The oldest orders are honoured first and no queue jumping. All as it should be!!

I agree. First in first out. My question is do the Japanese and British always step up first and order new RIC products before the US dealers, or is it just the "C" Series? Sorry if I worded my question poorly.
