Speaking of waiting...I was at Old Boise Guitar the other day and met with the Fender Rep. We were discussing Precision Basses. I went to lunch with the fronline catalog and decided to purchase from the Custom Shop the 59 Precision Bass. The rep told me it would be about one month. The dealer ordered it for me the following Monday and was advised it would be 8 months!

See it's not just RIC. Quality takes time! It just gives me something else to look forward to.

Yeah I ordered an Epiphone "Emily The Strange" G-310 from Music 123 because there website said "This item usually ships in 3-5 days".2 days later I got an email saying that they had ordered it from Epiphone and "it should arrive at our warehouse around July 13th".That being the case I cancelled that order and put in a new order for a 325C64 Miami instead. That one should arrive around August 18.

Soooo... does anyone know what the timeframe is for these? I'm sure Nick is still monitoring the forum.

Gaqry @NCM says NO WAY to April. He isn't optomistic about August either. It seem unlikely due to the fact that the 360C63/12 hasn't finished its run. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Today I got this email in reference to my order for a 325c64:

Notes: This item is was ordered from Rickenbacker; Rickenbacker informed us that we can expect to receive this item in our warehouse by 8/19/2005. As soon as we receive it from Rickenbacker, we will ship it directly to you - it should reach you approximately one week later.

They're messing with you.
No way is RIC gonna make a comment like that, and it's highly unlikely you'll see your guitar this year.
