Who else is looking at this????

I like to snag it but I already have a DG 350.

If another Forum member wants it, let me know and I will step a side.

I don’t want to just drive the price up for a bass that I am indifferent to.

I am at $1,111.00 now.

As an alternative Dave, have you let folks here that you have been looking for this model and year of bass. Sometimes you can bypass eBay altogether.

That caught my eye also, beautiful bass. I really liked the black trim on the desert gold.

But due to lack of cash disease, Im not in the game on this one.

Peter, point well taken;

However, the Rics I need, (or I guess “want” is a better word), are the same as all the other members, I am sure. (I.E. 4004LK, 4002, 4005wb). I know that I would have to get in a LONG line for those.

I think the way to keep the collection growing, are interesting items that pop up from time to time. Unfortunately, E bay provides that opportunity.

But, if someone wants to part with the items above, I am willing to jump to the front of the line.

Dave that is a nice bass. You don't see to many DG BT's around.

Agreed Dave. Things often evlove as they should. While not perfect, eBay does allow for maximum exposure of the product being sold. It has allowed many to find items that they would never have otherwise had the chance to procure.

No I didn't, Stan. I'm new to all this internet auction stuff and am treading 'vewwy, vewwy, cawefuwwy!!

The temptation was there to go stupid on the maximum but I resisted. It sold for about $300 below current 'street' price and it's a 7 year old guitar. I'd rather order and wait for a new one - I like new things!. Also, I'd probably prefer a Sierra anyway!!

I used Esnipe for the first time last week and it was GREAT! There was an auction ending long after my bedtime, and I didnt wanna stay up all night watching this thing, so I put in my max, and 3 seconds before it ended, Boom. My bid was in and I won.
However, I do enjoy the "thrill of the hunt" and doing things the old-fashioned way if at all possible.
