I just saw a nice 2002 4003FL Burgandy on ebay yesterday, very nice looking bass Ed, loves those flats too.

No way I'd ever put anything but flats on a fretless. I'll waffle about the Laredo, and might go back to rounds on the 4001, but the fretless J will always have flats on it. Just no other option! Image

Got to take a look for that 4003...just to get ideas at this point. But I was originally gassing for a mapleglo before I got the Laredo...so that will be the starting point for a Rick fretless.
