Just acquired 1968 366/12

Post by radiognome3 »

Hi. I am new to the forum. I owned a 1966 360/12 about twenty years ago and had to sell it in the early 90's to pay some bills.
But yesterday, I picked up a Jetglo 1968 366/12 (HD 7XX - is it a good idea to post serial numbers?). It had been at a Guitar Center in Oklahoma City for about five years. It does not have the converter, and a previous owner replaced the toasters with hi-gains, but it is an incredible player.
I am so glad to once again own a Rick. I will post a picture when I get access to a digital camera.
Cheers!

Welcome John and congratulations on your latest Rickenbacker. We will be waiting for the photos as soon as you can send them along. Posting the serial as HD 7XX is a good idea as it keeps the complete serial confidential but does give us the month and year.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Congratulations and a warm welcome from me also, John. Don't forget to keep a good supply of anti-GAS pills handy - you may need them!! Image

Thanks for the welcome. Anti-GAS pills...yeah, I think my wife would like for those to be developed.

Hi Kent. It must run in the family. Speaking of which, my family lives in Portland, Oregon (though I reside in Oklahoma).

I have a question: I registered my 366 on the registration page, so will I receive an email that this has been received? Just wondering.
