The TV coverage SUCKS. I was watching Dave Matthews and they cut away after about 1 minute to talk to people in the crowd. The only way to watch it is online, unedited.

The VH1 coverage is coverage of their coverage, not the music. Talking morons who can't put a thought together in order to complete a sentence, telling us things like "the crowd is singing and clapping along", and "this place is off the hook", and who probably couldn't find Africa on a map.
I learned there is are a lot of bands I've never heard of, and would love to never hear again.
I'm dying for the Floyd, we'll probably get a minute or two.

Saw McCartney with U2, he played the Casino thru a Vox head/4-12 cab. A 4 piece horn section came out with SP uniforms and wigs on.

Just saw Pink Floyd over the AOL feed, they were AWESOME!! So good to see Dave, Roger, Rick and Nick on the same stage again, and it was not cluttered with all of those sidemen, it sounded like PINK FLOYD! Loved it!!

"Who was that playing bass with The Who? Not Pino."

It was Damon Minchella Ronn.

He used to be in Ocean colour scene and has played with Paul Weller also.

I thought he did a fine job with The Who Tonight.

Great to see Roger Waters back together with Pink Floyd....he was really enjoying it....as did I Image

That P bass was a copy of the bass he used on "The Wall" tour and he used that and another exactly like it on his "In The Flesh" tour. I was suprised to see him used his fingers! I want that bass! I feel sad about Floyd.

I missed Paul and U2 but he's on right now, end of the show, "Get Back" and "Drive My Car" with George Michael. All live! Great show. Worth staying up all night for. 2 am 'til noon.
