Instrument line up.

Hi, Dave! My DG is fine and healthy! It has white trim, but ya know, the day I brought it home from the Guitar Show, I saw the 4003DG with black trim on eBay...liked that better, actually! Fortunately, I paid about $650 less for mine than what the b/t went for!

There was a vendor from Rhode Island selling a slightly used (looked new to me) 4001C64S-MG beaut. I almost bought that one before I saw the DG...but then I wouldn't have enough money for the divorce lawyers!

A lot of the same vintage stuff there that I saw at past shows...the ususal old strats, LPs, SGs, etc...only more expensive this time around. Chris from POTR brought that '86 4003BT-MG that he shows on his website.

Can't wait for the November show...I hope that 4001C64S is still there!

the wht/wt is a 4003. it came like that.

I like the 4003S/8 JG BT. or shadow. I don't have a big house, all of these except for 2 or 3 are in a climate controlled storage.

the rainy season would make 'em "cloudy".

And Frode... Ovation Celebrity A/E? My wife saw it... same finish as her acoustic Celeb!

Awsome lineup Dave. I am a rick man, so I recantly sold my fender to get money for a new rick. It was a Us Vintage 62 Reissue from 1982.

Beautiful lineup, for sure. I'm not up to date about Fender basses but I've heard that the quality is hit-or miss. Even with the USA made basses. I'm thinking about a Precision but, not so sure.

From my experiene (limited), the way to go with a new Fender seems to be Japan. QC seems higher in the ones I laid hands on... the comparison I've heard is factory-made in USA vs. handmade in Japan. Of course, this is coming from someone who had never REALLY liked any of them until I played my best friend's '74 P-Bass... makes me curious about certain MIJ reissues (i.e. Geddy Jazz)!

I've shown this one before but here it is again....

Missing are my MG 4003S/5 and 3 unfinished projects. My non-Ricks are my Lakland Joe Osborne with a '72A P-bass neck, Hohner acoustic bass, Gibson acoustic 6-string, and 2 70's vintage Ibanez lawsuit Gibson copies.

That's a great collection, Ted, but from what I've seen through your pictures it's a great house as well.
