The Music Zoo

Post by lowendbob »

Wow, I do believe Tim at the Music Zoo has about the best prices on Ric's.

I just inquired about a 2005 660 Midnight Blue for a guitar buddy and his price was $1325 including shipping fully insured.
How can you beat that?
Anybody ever buy from here?

Bot me, but he did have a great price on a JG 360-12V63 a couple of months back. And you thought they only came in FG?

I haven't bought from there before, but that's a great guitar. I would call and get more info!

I really like those new Fireglo and Mapleglo 4003's. Actually though those pictures were really good.

I dig those 650C in Fireglo...

I e-mailed him for a price quote, lets see how much he's willing to let one of them go for.

950$ including shipping like Lowendbob said...

Too bad I can't technicly afford it... Plus I'd sure love to test one before buying one!

For some reason I don't see the 650 series becoming very valuable...

I'm buying the 660FG tomorrow for a friend of mine, and if he changes his mine I'll gladly keep it.

The worst part is I was making some calculations last night and I could afford it!
I would still have enough money to pay first semester of university, just not much left after that.

Comes to a little under $1200 CAD. That's not too bad I think...

Patrick, did you see the 650D's on EBay?
The guy has 2 brand new ones, and he just relisted them and dropped the price for both down a 50 dollars to $599.
I bet he might swing something off auction.

Thanks for the link, I always told myself my next one will be FG, that's what I liked about the one at The Music Zoo!

What I really need is to kill two birds with one stone and get a 12-string FG...

I went there last week to pick up a 330/6. They were very helpful and I got a nice price. $1025 for a Blueboy. They had a Midnight Blue and a Mapleglo as well, but the Blueboy sounded brighter. Also.... the Blueboy had the best looking fretboard I'd ever seen on a Rick. Does anyone think they might put better looking fretboards on color of the year guitars?
p.s.---this is my first post AWWWWWWW

Welcome Mark! Yes, I think the Music Zoo has some of the best prices on Ric's out there, and they can certainly work a price for you.
I see they have a Blue Boy 4003 listed on their site.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by better looking fretboards. I only know of RIC using an ebony fretboard on their discontinued model 4002 bass.
Buy it before someone else does.
