Should I or Shouldn't I?

It's kinda the bass I'm looking for. BIN a bit pricey if it's beat up as he says, but if I bid, I'll get beat.

Marc,

Hit the button mate! My 1975 4000 in Jetglo is undoubtedly the most comfortable and smooth playing bass I've ever owned. There's something beautifully simple about the 4000 model. I paid closer to US$1500 for mine about three months ago from a shop here in Melbourne. Very few come up on eBay....excluding the usual Guitar Center listing for the Fireglo example at $4199!!!

Marc,
I almost pulled the trigger on this before I saw this thread.

Go for it .... !! Or I will !!!

Darren's right, no matter how scratched it might be a Mark-A, or Doc Dolan refinish to Fireglo will soon have it looking wonderful.

Thanks, I just hope I can color it the way I want to.

There's a horseshoe pickup and a hipshot bridge waiting for it.
