George's WITHIN YOU WITHOUT YOU always bugged me. That infernal sitar all the way through the song made me feel like I was in a barber's chair. Weeeeeeooonnnnnnn. Later, i must say i thought the lyrics were pretty sophisticated.

Within You Without You bothered me too but I have to admit, I've warmed up to the tune over the years...

Steve, maybe you should change barbers?

I have never liked "Drive My Car". Don't know why, just don't like it. And now it's on the "to learn" list. UGH!

I never went nuts about "Drive my Car" either like a lot of people, it's ok, I don't dislike it but it's not high on my list either.
I didn't like "Within Without You" either and it also grew on me. Their early stuff is still my favorite.

Hey Jude and Get Back are two great examples.

I'll add "Only A Northern Song". Not exactly George's shining moment.

Not written by L&M, but I hate "Mr. Moonlight."

Fortunately I can't list a Beatles song that I don't like.
Sure I might skip one once in awhile, but I like everything.

Never really considered Revolution #9 a song but I guess I'll have to say it's one I don't listen to ever.

I'm suprised no one mentionned You Know My Name, I'm sure there's people who hate that one. My opinion, I love it, haha.

Name/Number is fun, on a long trip in the van we usually start singing it at some point.

The only Beatles song that really annoys me is "Got to Get You Into My Life". The horn section parts just sound so corny to me. OTOH, "Savoy Truffle" is one of my all time fave songs...the horn section on that just sounds mean and nasty. Now that I think about it..."Act Naturally" is pretty annoying too Image

This thread is so interesting. Funny I really enjoy Mr. Moonlight and it is a hoot to sing and play. I have learned to like a number of songs after playing them that were not my favourite recordings.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Yup, I love Mr. Moonlight and used to do a pretty good job of singing it, was my best song when I played in the Beatles band in Lima. Loved the Lennon beginning.
