That's correct, I have the old price list and it shows the Cii as $1949.

This was the first price increase in 5 or 6 years, and it's under 10%. That's remarkable by itself, but especially when compared to others. Fender has gone up every fall, and at least 5% every time.

Ron, I ordered a simple beauty: 4003fg

It's been 4 months now. The guy at the store told me they could have it in june because they ordered it before me... What I clearly mean is when I went in the store, there was none, so I asked if they had placed an order. They couldn't tell me when they did, but they said they could get it in june, so I reserved it. BUT, when I reserved, I saw the guy place an order on his computer... so... Christmas I guess...

I paid $999.89 for my 4003 from a New jersey based on-line company.

I was originally quoted $980.00 from another (more well known) on-line company. Then I left on vacation and came back to find the price quote had changed to $1,050.00

Alembic rolled their prices up 15% after the first of the year. Raw material costs were cited as a major factor in the decision.

Not to mention how much it's costing in gas to get those raw materials to them.
Is everybody ready?
