I have a 330 that I have just had routed to accomodate a third pick up. I want to wire it to the selector switch as standard (ie, working with the neck pick up), but want to remove the neck pick up tone control & replace it with a volume control for the mid pick up. I already have a volume pot.
Any wiring diagram help would be gratefully received!

Custom wiring for 330
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.
Tony,
Small bit of advise that has served me well recently on this - forgive the untechnical speaky stuff . I'm a "suck it and see" solderer with guitars, but I've found that with volume pot, using the middle lug as hot from pick and then the "on lug" - the lug that on strat's is normally grounded - to output works really well for multiple volume setups. No loss of signal when a pickup is turned all the way down that you get with some gibsons and others.
