What are you waiting for???????????????
Also, a question to the Forum…
Would we want them as much, if they were readily available? (Like Fender and Gibson)

The waiting can be a killer....but what are the options? If production is ramped up the quality might suffer.....so I'd rather wait.
More of the problem for me is the uncertainty. If I order something give me a production date (or range of dates). To order a guitar/bass in this modern age and not know if you will get it in 2 weeks or in 14 months in rediculous.
I have nothing on order now and I would still place an order if I was in need of something new.....but I do find the lack of info on availability annoying.

I look at it like it's a nice surprise coming. I ordered a BlueBoy 4003FL last summer and already paid for it so when it comes, surprise! haha!
I want them when they are in the stores and want them if I have to wait 2 years. I don't think that makes them more desirable. They're made well, look pretty and sound great that's why I want them. Plus you KNOW where it's made, do you with Gibson or fender? Ha!

I'm waiting for a 360/6 blueburst. It was ordered by an old friend/guitar store mgr right after the NAMM unveiling January 2005. I personally have only been waiting since late June...no one else had bothered to put a deposit down before me so I get 1st shot at the 1st one that comes in. It's the 1st time I've ever ordered a guitar and not just bought the best one I could find in stock.

I'm waiting for a 360/6 FG, Dennis. Even though I'm in Australia, I reckon there's a fair chance I'll get mine before you get yours!
Mine was ordered from the factory late last year (by the distributor here) but I put $1000 down only two weeks ago.
I've got four other Ricks, so it's not as if I'm desperate!!

Guys
I am not questioning the quality, or the craftsmanship. It’s the best, and cannot be rushed.
But what about human nature???
You want what you cannot have.
Do you think about the girl in high school that was willing to go out with you???
Or do you think about the one who wouldn’t talk to you in a million years????

You guys have a bit longer, I'd say...Dan, start breathing. Steve, happy belated birthday.
