He is open to offers he says. If it gets to the last day with no bids, and providing everybody is on the same page you (all) could probably make him an offer.

That's providing Graham (or someone else) doesn't go round and wave a pile of the Queens head underneath his noseImage

Hey Mike (Mgauction), I have been trying to e-mail you updates on the SoCal Confluence (SoCalCon) but have been getting mailer-daemon errors. Please e-mail me directly so I can correctly get you onto the mailing list.

Marc - I hope if any people get that bass, and by the way it is a great one-off, I hope it is you or Graham or someone in this forum! I'm a little sour on the seller, but, in no way on the bass!

Then, mike, the best thing to do is take it from him! If i get the funds wired into my acct i expect to on Friday, it's mine. If not, I hope another forumite gets lucky.

frighteningly pricey, even with rarity value - are they that good to play?

I am probably right when there is a 0 feedback bidder on anything on ebay to say that it is a shill bid -- especially on a $11K item!!

I saw two bids and thought this could be getting interesting! I thought Marc had pressed the button. But newly registered, zero feedenbackers just puts my hackles up. Maybe there are two individuals who collect expensive Rickenbackers, that only just found out about Ebay and registered yesterday and today and are keen to secure this baby..........mmmmmmm
