So the white pickguards are not original?

It's been discussed that on 4080's the pickgards are usually opposite the binding as a rule.
No matter where you go - there you are.

Ilan; Good question:

The TRC's were mixed (Black and White) the pick guards were black, (all non original, I think) when I got it.

I made it all white. How it came out of the factory in 1975, I do not know.

Wes P.'s post is my general observation however.
