A pretty good deal

Post by rickaddict »

I think this beater V63 could have been a fun project:

Did anybody here get it? I think I'd pimp it out in a Red Sparkleglo and black pickguard!

Man, that is nice! I would have either left it as is or refinned in Blue Boy

Looks all right to me. I wouldn't mind adding it to my collection. The seller recommends sending RIC the weak treble pickup. Send it to me instead, and I'll make it kick major bee-you-tee-tee again! Well? Isn't any one of you going to buy that beauty, fellows?

It could have an original horseshoe, which would explain the weak output. I put in a bid but then forgot about it..Doh!

Thanks, Marc.... I remember when that first went up for sale a couple of weeks ago...I kicked myself for not going for it then...

I'm looking forward to getting this one back together and into my arsenal....

Best deal I've seen on Ebay for a while. Although that MG72 was sweet...

I guess it's my turn.... ;-)

This one stays. It'll get a LOT of playing time along with the 4005's and the '73...and '72....and the Shadow.....

Thanks , Bob!

Funny thing is......I had to get my WIFE to bid on it for me...Image

I can surf the 'bay at work, but it won't let me get past the "place bid" stage.....so I had to call HER at work and get her to do it for me... I had to "convince" her and give her the "how to" ....all the while, time is a wastin'...she GOT 'ER DONE, though....lol.....aw man...I LOVE this gal.... Image

Yer lucky! Both with the wife and work. We have Websense and it locks down most every cool place on the web, except for this one!
