Anyone planning to "snipe" me ? 4004Ci

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7338256377&category=4713&rd=1

I'm not planning on getting into a bidding war so if someone plans to bid more than me there is no use driving up the price. I'm not looking to pay too much more than the $1k opening bid so let me know. I would like to score this as it would be a great addition to my LK.

If I do get it I'll likely sell my '97 4003MID and '93 4003MG....both in excellent condition (currently with Barts but will reinstall original single coils unless the Barts are prefered....which I doubt). I never thought I'd part with them but I am very enamored with the 4004 tone. With the LK and a Ci (tuned BEAD) along with my 4003s8 I'll have everything I need.....well, until I "need" something else Image.

If you are looking at the 4004Ci or are interested in either of my 4003's let me know. I'll sell them for reasonable non-ebay prices to Forumites......

the 4004ci has a nice warm tone ... especially when wired volume, volume, tone ... and they make really nice five string basses ... I already have one so I won't be bidding ... but I do want to get a 4004cii trans red ... and convert it to a 5 string ...

Not me, it's not my colour.

I played the one Ted restored, sold to Jeff and then to Jaymi. Great tone, and played really nice.

Go for it !!!
