I thought it was time to start a new thread to clarify what, if anything, is happening? I'd still like to get something going. Maybe it'll be just me and leftyguitars?

OK, I've been hanging on for a firm date & finalisation, but it looks like I wont get that untill next week.

So the details so far are...Proposed date is Sunday, 25th Sept, at a very easy to get too location in Birmingham (very handy to the Motorway....with a proposed time of midday to around 7pmish. Like I said, loads of parking, a good secure venue, a free buffet & a pay bar. The hold up has been waiting for venue availability, but it look that this will be sorted by early next week.

How does this sound to everyone?

Sorry it's taken so long with nothing heard, but I've been waiting for info....
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

Hi, i'm new but well up for meeting. What is the crack? Do you all play your guitars? If so, got a feeling i'm gonna get blown off the stage!

You will be more than welcome Kelly. More on this will follow as soon as I get news...hopefully it will be firmed up next week.

Blown off stage! I don't think so. Could you bring that rather nice bass of yours?

Did this idea get anywhere yet? I'm really unlikely to be able to make it on 25 Sept (life is busy and, like Kelly, I don;t want to be blown off stage...), but I figure if it can be made to happen once then a repeat is on the cards...
