Go for it Brian and good luck! I have a Cheyenne and love it!

Jacob.....I usually don't bleed either. I played my new-at-the-time 4003s8 two nights before a big show (for us) at The House of Blues and scored myself some pretty nice blisters. At the show two nights later they let go early in our set and left the mess you see here. I don't need to use a pick....picks are for guitar players, coal miners and dentists. Play an s8 and you'll see just how hard they are on the hands.....and besides I have a good story and my bandmates will never again question my dedication Image.

No reason to feel sorry for the Ric......a little elbow grease and some polish and it was returned to it's shiny blood-free glory.

That Cheyenne I looks nice...but I'm not in the market for a guitar now. I have to be satisfied with the choices I have now. Image

I wasn't gonna bid on the bass in question...until I read your little pick comment.

You'd better watch out about 5 minutes until the end of the auction!

Just kidding man - good luck with the bass...

Jared, I saw one just like that at the Pick of the Rics. It's not posted yet, and may sell before it is posted.

That looks like flame maple, not quilted maple, to me. Do you have a better photo to show the quilt better?

Is that a maple top with walnut back and walnut wings headstock? If so, that would make me interested!
