I've been in contact with Chris Clayton this week, he reported that sadly, he still hasn't heard anything about when they might be in.

Yesterday I spoke with the guitar store mgr who ordered my 360BBR. I mentioned Ben Hall's comments in the "Where are the Bluebursts" thread that some 360 and 4003 BBR's should move out in August. He told me that's more info than his RIC sales distributor has Image

Well, Ben is a bit closer to the source than the distributors are...

My schedule calls for bluebursts to go into production in about two weeks. First 4003's, then 360/12's, 330's, 360's, in that order. The 330/12's and 620's will be a few more months so we can blow out some of the older backorders first. Keep in mind that I have no idea or control over where these first runs are headed but I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of them end up in Japan or the UK.

I seem to remember seeing 4004Cii's on the block for November/December but without my list in front of me I don't know how many will go Blueburst. Seems like we do those at the end of the year because I recall a bunch of those in production at the end of last year. By the way, 620 BBR's are slated for mid October, but again, how many of those first ones go domestic is beyond me. Blueburst 381's, 350's, 660's, and 650's as far as I can remember are off the radar for this year.

Sounds like I am going to have a lot of time to fall in love with my new Thunderbird....Image
Thanks for the info, Ben. It's hard not knowing...if I can have some realistic timeline, I can rationalize it in my mind and it will all be OK... Image
