"Blueburst 381's, 350's, 660's, and 650's as far as I can remember are off the radar for this year."

I was just joking before, but it looks like it MIGHT actually be a present for my birthday in 2006! (April).

This is really great info to have! Thanks Ben! My 2003 4004 Cii MG has an Oct birth date and my 2004 Cii has a Nov birth date so...

A little off-topic… Any news on the status of the Cii 5 string, Ben?

Cheers!

Thanks, Ben! I was given a December guesstimate by a dealer (who wouldn't order one for me) back in January when I ordered mine. Mike Parks told me, "You're in for a looong wait, buddy!".

"My schedule calls for bluebursts to go into production in about two weeks. First 4003's, then 360/12's, 330's, 360's, in that order."

Hmmm...maybe I'll change my order from a 360 to a 360/12 Image

I hope Ben hasn't opened a very large can of worms here!!

It would be interesting to know whether production of your common or garden FG, JG and MG instruments continues through the the COY run(s) or whether it stops. I declare a vested interest here - I have a 360/6 FG on order. Image

Having read the previous posts I guess it's safe to assume if I put $ down to hold a blueburst 350 that has already been ordered I won't see it 'til '06. Long time no see.

In the meantime, Dan..... buy something cheap and nasty and take your frustrations out on it!!

Better that abusing the better half or kicking the cat! Image

I ordered my 360/6 BBR on May 4 and given that it was supposed to be a 9 month wait, I'll be happy when August 4th rolls around. I didn't want to talk about it with too many people until the first trimester was past. Superstition, you know...

Sounds fair to me, Dan. Maybe I should buy a MIA Strat or Tele while I'm waiting for my 360/6 FG!

Then again, I've got four other Ricks to amuse me in the interim. Image

Good luck, Bill. Hope it's on time.

Add my name to the list of people saying thanks for the update Ben. Even though the wait will be long it's so much better than wondering whether it'll turn up tomorrow or in a year's time.

So... the 620s are being made in October... then there's the time spent on a slow ship to Australia... "I'm dreaming of a Blueburst Christmas". (Here's hoping my 620 is in the October batch)

Wow! Wouldn't that be something - a 20' container of Rickenbackers arriving!! Geez... the wharfies would have fun with those on the black market, wouldn't they?? I reckon a 747 would be more likely, Carl.

Yes, even though we don't like hearing the news, we LIKE hearing the news! It's a lot easier to think end of the year than to be on needles and pins wondering if this is the day it comes in. Thanks again, Ben! We appreciate the info.
