Replacing nut

Post by modelcitizen »

I need to replace the nut on a one of my Ricks...what's the best/safest way? Should I razor thru the finish before tapping the nut off so that there's no risk of chipping the finish?

you could use a hair dryer to loosen the glue a little bit, just make sure you don't hit the glue for the fretboard though!!!
