The 6th Harry Potter... Shifted!

Post by 1rr3l3v4n7 »

Wow... my girlfriend got her brand new copy of the very last (finished) Harry Potter... Well... I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but she IS. So, when she got it, I tought I'd be attentionless for some time, BUT I found something at a local music store:

THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF RICKENBACKER GUITARS
(by R.R. Smith)

This book is Awesome (plus I was kinda sick reading old online rickenbacker catalogs, craving for information).
The book is 1987, but fine with me! Even tough there are some inaccuracies (mostly regarding the Beatles and how the got their instruments), man this book is rich...

So, I end up reading and learning more than my girl, waiting for my brand new 4003 to be delivered in a couple of weeks...
ah... life is good...

Anybody would like to give me some feedback about the book (Rick history)???
Yes, I played one... and I know!

It's a great book, Karl. As far as I know, it hasn't been updated since 1987, so you've got the latest edition!

I found the historical stuff most interesting (even if there are inaccuracies - but who can say?) and the pictures great.

Keep your eyes open for Bacon and Day's 'The Rickenbacker Book'.

Cheers
