The lead guitarist in our band just got one to run with his 330/12, it sounds fantastic.

I just got one over the weekend. Not had a chance to try it yet - but I'll give you my verdict soon.

Well I've had a bit of a play around with the janglebox and I'm impressed. It gives a pretty good impression of McGuinn's Tamborine Man / Turn Turn Turn sound - especially on the brightest setting. Very clean and jangly. From my own point of view I prefer the McGuinn model for it's wilder compression which takes you closer to the 5D sound - but for a non-McGuinnised (is that a word??) Ricky - it improves the jangle beautifully. It will be used all the time when I'm not playing my McGuinn model. 9.5 out of 10.

Many, many thanks for all the kind words from JangleBox users here; we're grateful for your support. We continue to receive encouraging comments from customers around the world (Canada, France, England, New Zealand, Italy and Australia, so far.)

Just a quick update regarding some things discussed here:

Roger McGuinn is now using a JangleBox instead of the Line6 Pod. His testimonial will be on our updated web site in the next week or so.He mentions us briefly at the end of an article in the Sacramento News & Review,
http://www.newsreview.com/issues/sacto/2004-11-04/music.asp

Andrew Gold, former Linda Ronstadt guitarist, and leader of Byrds of a Feather, has also endorsed JangleBox. Andrew's endorsement will also be on our site soon.

Emmylou Harris' guitarist, Buddy Miller, phoned us late last week, and he's taking his JangleBox on Emmylou's tour starting today.Told us he loved the box.

Many would-be purchasers have been asking us for sound samples. We hope to have clips on the web site as part of our update. Look for them in the next two weeks.

Buddy Miller and Emmylou Harris put on the greatest shows — they're both simply phenomenal. Have a great time, Don. If you get a chance, take a look at Buddy's rig before they come on stage and you'll see a JangleBox on his pedal board.

Does'nt the jangle box do more than just compress? Seems somewhere I heard its treble booster and volume booster?

Got my JangleBox today and it is a winner! It clearly outperforms the BOSS CS-3 I had been using with my '66 Ricky 360-12 when it comes to getting The BYRDS sound.

I still prefer the sound of running the JangleBox into my BOSS RV-3 Digital Reverb/Delay set (l to r) at "9:00", "9:00", "9:00", "5".

Congrats on building a winner Steve!

I just bought a 360/12MG (forum >> Rickenbacker Guitars >> Impulse Buy - 360/12), and I was wondering... what's the waiting time on ordering a new JangleBox now? It's something I'm starting to think about, and I've got a gig (Byrds tribute) on the first of February. Thanks!

Stephen: we're currently back ordered about 5-6 weeks, but we just got a new assembler. E-mail me at [email protected] and I'll fill you in.

I've been using my J-Box for about a month now, and it blows the doors off of my CS-3 for the Byrds sounds. I too have had radio interference with the J-box on the "Bright" setting, but it's only occasionally. The "sounds" are amazing! It nails the "I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better" lead. The "chimes" won't quit! Great product Steve. Hint: It sure would look cool with Vintage Black Knobs.....

Santa was kind enough to leave a JangleBox with my name on it under the Christmas tree. It's the first pedal that I've ever owned and I've been having fun with it.

Regrettably, i'm forced to sell my barely used JANGLEBOX to pay some bills. Still in the box, I just put it on ebay for starting bid of $165, or Buy it Now for $185 (they currently list for $215 and are back ordered 6 weeks. It's in perfect condition, and I think I'll go now and have a good cry...
