Which Rickenbacker???

I played one of those little buggers one time. A friend had bought it. I thought it was hard to play. He did'nt like it either and sold it and got a 350. So he could have the 325 body and not that neck.
In a way I don't understand it. He and I both have old Mustangs. They are short scale too and easy to play. They just have bit too much nasal tone to me.
I got a 360 and love it. I love the binding, shark fin inlays, and rounded body. Some folks like the simpler look of the 330 better. Both the 330 and 360 are good players unlike the 325.

Here's one I hadn't seen... a rare pix pf George with the 420 (or is it 450?) which he played for a very short while.

i want to say it's a 420....i know that he had another vintage pickup installed later on towards the bridge...or maybe the neck....i don't know...not much out there about his first rick...great picture though!
