Shame there is no BIN. Then we could have found out what he really wants...

I think it's getting a bit out of hand, we've got nine days to go on this auction, c'mon...It's a lot of bread for a modded bass IMO...

That jasongibsonebo person ("0" eBay history) seems set on pushing the price up, up and away!
I guess he must really, really, REALLY like the "gibsonebo" part of the bass!
My first bass was a Rickenbacker...
My best bass is a Rickenbacker...
My last bass may very well be a Rickenbacker

Kelly - I'm not a BIG fan of Fireglo(I prefer the older mellower ones) but that thing is a beaut in your hands! I am drooling all over myself, I apologize!

Are you guys piling the bids on that bass? $3300+ only after a few hours and who knows how many posts on it. I feel like I've posted near the end and it's the same day!! I think any purchase of a 4005 within the last 3 months could make money now -- regardless.

My December 1966 fireglo -- I love it! Thanks Jeff for the great adjustment at the confluence!!

Any time!

I can't go fo it as I just bought a Rick Turner Renaissance RB4-FL from Bass Central while I was in Florida this weekend! I did get to plays some awesome basses while there. I tried a Lakland Hollowbody, nice but way heavier than a 4005. Probably the nicest bass I played was a fretless 5 string F bass.

I also tried a Phil Jones Briefcase, very nice and excellent bottom end fot 2 5" speakers!
